March 23, 2026 - South Chickamauga Creek Greenway
As the first rays of the sun stretch across the South Chickamauga Creek, the soft warmth of early spring settles over us, coaxing buds from the trees and lifting the chill to a gentle low-60s embrace.
Walking this quiet pathway in fellowship, we listen together to session two of 'The Perfect Prayer: The Mass', and our hearts are attuned to the sacred rhythm of the day. The reflection on the opening prayer resonates deeply—the way it acts as a signpost, guiding our minds and hearts into the mystery of the Mass, reminding us that our attention and participation are not passive but a loving dialogue with God. As we respond inwardly to the readings, we encounter His voice uniquely, discovering the personal messages He weaves into each line, each verse, each whisper of creation around us. Here, in the soft spring light, with friends and faith alongside us, the path becomes more than a walk—it is a journey into prayer itself, where every step and every breath draws us closer to the Divine.

March 5, 2026 - Tennessee Riverpark
This week began with a welcome relief from the cold temperatures.
Our morning walk started in the low 50's and reached a very comfortable 60°F by the end.
We were also treated to a dramatic scene at the dam as they were releasing copious amounts of water from the spill gates.

Despite the 27°F temperature and MILD SNOW FLURRIES, a single blossoming tree gave us a glimpse towards spring.

After this weekend's tempest, God blessed us with a glorious morning for our weekly Riverpark walk. The intrepid souls that braved the 18°F with windchill were treated to a beautiful sunrise complete with 'Angel Dust' or as some call them, snow flurries. Our group experienced a rare solitude along this typically busy route broken only by the sound of a gaggle of birds.
